Mark D. J. Schulz

Prior to attending law school, Mark Schulz earned his Bachelor of Nursing at Mount Royal University, in which he focused on Cardiovascular Intensive Care. He continues to retain his Registered Nurse status with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta and consults in the private sector as an Occupational Health & Safety Nurse and completes product reviews to meet Health Canada Pharmacovigilance Compliance guidelines.

Mark attended law school at Bond University in Queensland, Australia, earning his Juris Doctor with Honours. During his time at Bond, Mark was actively involved in University politics and sports, becoming the President of the Post-Graduate Student Association, the Post-Graduate Liaison to the Bond University Student Association, a Director for the Law Students’ Association and Vice-President of both the Squash and SCUBA Diving Clubs.

Following the completion of his J.D., Mark continued his post-graduate education at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law. In the Spring of 2015, he graduated at the top of his class, as evidenced by his placement on the Dean’s List, and was awarded a Master of Laws in Global Health Law with Distinction. During his time at Georgetown, Mark appeared before the International Human Rights Commission and collaborated with the Pan-American Health Organization and the World Health Organization on various projects promoting access to pharmaceuticals in Developing Countries. Mark's practice focuses on Malpractice, Personal Injury and Intellectual Property litigation.
