Deanna Feary has been DD West’s Accounting Manager since December, 2018. She has a lengthy career in the legal industry, 15-plus years’ experience in the accounting department, and an open and professional business acumen.

Deanna’s primary responsibilities include accounting, payroll, and benefits administration, but she also actively contributes to the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Deanna keeps herself up-to-date on the latest trends in accounting strategies to maintain and promote seemingly effortless firm consistency, transparency, and employee engagement.

Deanna received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Calgary in 1997 but chose to transition to accounting shortly after. She earned her Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation with the Canadian Payroll Association in 2009 and was on her way to a full Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada designation when she chose to take a step back to start a family.

In her personal time, Deanna enjoys spending time with her young family and getting back to nature in her expansive garden.
