Katie provides comprehensive advice to federally and provincially regulated employers and unions on various matters, including discipline and terminations, workplace policies, contracts, collective agreement interpretation and human rights issues. She has represented clients before all levels of court in Manitoba, as well as in Human Rights Tribunals and the Federal Court.

In addition to her work with employers and unions, Katie was part of the class action team that advocated on behalf of numerous CFS Agencies, organizations and children in care in a landmark decision which struck down provincial legislation that wrongfully claimed Children’s Special Allowances benefits from children in care. This case resulted in a signification $530-million settlement in Manitoba.
